CricMate Data Deletion Policy and Instructions

Last Updated: July 10, 2026. At CricMate, a Gamepe Technologies application, we value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. In compliance with data protection regulations and platform policies, including Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Meta, this document outlines how you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from the CricMate app and our servers.

1. How to Delete Your Data Within the CricMate App

The fastest way to delete your data is directly through the CricMate mobile application. This will immediately initiate the deletion process for your account and associated data.

Steps to delete your account in-app:

  1. Open the CricMate app and log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to your Profile by tapping the user icon in the bottom right corner.
  3. Tap on the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll down and select Account Settings or Privacy Settings.
  5. Tap on Delete Account.
  6. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Once confirmed, you will be logged out, and your data deletion process will begin.

2. How to Request Data Deletion via the Web

If you have uninstalled the CricMate app or cannot access your account, you can request manual deletion of your account and personal data by contacting our support team.

Steps to request deletion via email:

  1. Send an email to contact@gamepe.co.in from the email address associated with your CricMate account.
  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Username/Email]".
  3. In the body of the email, include your full name, the email address or phone number registered with your CricMate account, and a clear statement requesting deletion of your account and all associated personal data.

Our support team will process your request and confirm deletion of your data within 7 to 14 business days.

3. Deleting Data Connected via Facebook Login

If you created your CricMate account using Facebook Login, you can remove CricMate's access to your Facebook data and request deletion of data we received from Meta. This section also serves as CricMate's Meta data deletion callback instruction page.

Steps to remove CricMate from your Facebook account:

  1. Go to your Facebook account and navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Click on Apps and Websites in the left-hand menu.
  3. Locate CricMate in the list of active apps and click Remove.

By clicking Remove, Facebook will sever the connection. To ensure all previously collected data on our servers is erased, follow the email instructions in Section 2 above to notify our team.

4. What Happens When You Request Deletion?

When you initiate a data deletion request, the following actions occur:

  • Account Closure: Your CricMate profile, login credentials, and user preferences will be permanently deleted.
  • User Content: All user-generated data, such as your fantasy teams, match predictions, comments, and saved statistics, will be anonymized or permanently erased.
  • Third-Party Data: We will sever all links to third-party authentication services, including Google and Facebook.

Data Retention Exceptions

We may retain certain specific data strictly for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, such as financial transaction records for in-app purchases or server logs used to prevent malicious activity. This retained data will not be used for marketing or profiling and will be deleted once the legal retention period expires.
